The world first drone hotel
Chinese drone manufacturer EHang is collaborating with hotel developer LN Holdings to build the world's first passenger drone hotel.
Airport taxis will be an integral part of the hotel experience. They will offer transportation to and from the hotel as well as for natural excursions. Drones will also deliver to the hotel. And the drone light show will be on the entertainment roster for guests.
Flying taxis may sound like science fiction, but EHang has rarely come forward to make them a reality compared to anyone. The company has designed drone designs to produce a fully autonomous passenger craft Ehang 216 AAV. It is essentially an octocopter with a two-passenger compartment at the top. Unlike most other air taxi manufacturers that incorporate a pilot, the 216 AAV is designed to be fully autonomous. EHang has already reached dozens of its passenger drone customers in Asia, Europe and North America.
